For Product Pioneering Candidate 2024, our team was challenged to improve user retention for The Coach, an English learning app. Through ideation and iteration, we developed a set of user-centered features addressing low motivation and poor time management, including Meo, an AI Avatar Buddy that supports SMART goal-setting, progress tracking, and real-time translation; a Smart Study Schedule with calendar integration and reminders; a Game Mode with interactive challenges and rewards; and a Progress Analysis Dashboard to help learners understand their performance. These solutions met the client’s expectations while helping The Coach stand out in the EdTech market.
